Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting tasks to ensure the efficient operation of production machines and equipment. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and troubleshoot machines or equipment to identify malfunctions and determine necessary repairs or adjustments. Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment. Lubricate, clean, install, move, set up, and operate machine tools and equipment. Dismantle, fit, or assemble components for routine maintenance or repair. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, schematics, and machine specifications. Perform fabrication and mechanical measurements as needed. Conduct occasional janitorial and groundskeeping tasks. Qualifications and Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical, mechanical, and schematic diagrams. Intermediate-level knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Basic fabrication and mechanical measurement skills. Safety-oriented with a strong understanding of workplace safety standards. Ability to lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds, and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, standing, and reaching. Experience in maintenance and repair of production machines is a plus. Military experience is highly valued. Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Work Schedule: Must be available to work 10-hour shifts. Compensation: Pay rate negotiable based on experience and qualifications
