Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

The Maintenance Technician performs maintenance tasks, troubleshoots issues, repairs equipment, and trains production personnel. The role involves ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of plant machinery and equipment.

ResponsibilitiesParticipate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs.Complete all maintenance service requests as assigned.Maintain spare part inventory controls for cost-effective operations.Assist with successful audits in the area of maintenance.Implement and coordinate maintenance plans with the production department.Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment, including mixers, conveyors, compressors, and pumps.Repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc., as needed.Perform work order repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on machines at regular intervals.Implement corrective measures concerning quality improvement.Keep the maintenance shop clean and organized.Essential SkillsProficiency in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.Ability to troubleshoot and repair control devices, including switches, sensors, and motor starters.Knowledge of spare part inventory management.Experience in implementing and coordinating maintenance plans.Strong understanding of plant safety, health, and environmental programs.Capability to assist with maintenance audits.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in training production personnel on equipment use and maintenance.Skills in quality review and implementation of corrective measures for improvement.Ability to maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop.Why Work Here

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
