Maintenance Technician
Join Our Dynamic Team as a Maintenance Tech – Exciting Part-Time PM Shift with Full-Time Potential! Compensation: $ 15 - $ 18, Part-Time Second Shift

Are you passionate about keeping things running smoothly? Do you have a strong construction background> Do you have previous hospitality experience? We are looking for a PartimeMaintenance Technician with a can-do attitude, who is skilled, reliable, and ready to take on a variety of tasks to keep our facility in top condition!

This is a part-time position for now, with the potential to transition to full-time. Please note, weekends are mandadorty as part of this PM shift role.

What You’ll Do:

Provide Exceptional Service: Respond promptly and professionally to guests' questions, concerns, and requests with courtesy and efficiency. Hands-On Maintenance: Perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance, including interior and exterior building work, hotel rooms, laundry and kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, lighting, water treatment, and water fountain. You’ll ensure that everything is running at its best! Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs before they become issues, keeping everything operating smoothly for both guests and staff. You will mostly be doing this on downtimes. Work Orders: Complete assigned work orders quickly and with precision, ensuring high standards are met. Stay Organized: Keep track of completed repairs and report any items that need further attention, helping to prevent downtime. Punctual & Professional: Maintain excellent attendance, always showing up on time and following scheduled work, break, and meal periods. High Standards of Grooming: Present yourself professionally by following grooming standards and adhering to the dress code. Team Player: Assist with any other tasks as directed by your supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the team.

What You Need to Bring:

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED, with 6 months to 1 year of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Preferred candidates will have prior construction experience and practical knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, and masonry. Flexibility: Ability to work weekendsPM shifts. This position is part-time but can transition to full-time.

Work Environment:

Weather-Ready: You’ll be comfortable working in all types of weather conditions, ensuring repairs are completed no matter what’s happening outside. Hands-On Work: You’ll be working with mechanical parts, high up on ladders, and in extreme temperatures. Expect exposure to cleaning chemicals and moderate noise levels in a busy hotel environment. Safety First: Always adhere to safety procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.

Physical Demands:

Active Role: Expect to stand or walk for most of your shift, with lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 lbs. Agility Required: You’ll climb ladders, reach overhead, and perform other tasks that require strength and flexibility. Communication: You’ll talk and hear frequently to ensure smooth operations and clear communication with your team and guests.
