**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** Book a meeting with a recruiter now: https://talentassistant.aerotek.com/assistant/bookings/mY2m\_Mgd **Job Description** Overhauls, repairs, and tests high-speed production equipment including ovens, packaging machines, mixers, cartoners, baggers, stuffers, etc., throughout the facility. **Responsibilities** + Read, understand, use, and update shop prints and specifications, and refer to manufacturer’s manuals for servicing and installation of equipment and distribution systems. + Determine manpower and material requirements, the means and methods to be used in accomplishing work assignments, and recommend changes. + Prepare and paint surfaces and maintain cleanliness of work areas. + Use tools and test equipment. + Maintain spare parts inventory and order parts as required. + Coordinate with Maintenance supervision when locking and tagging systems. + Observe safety standards and practices. + Observe and assist outside contractors for compliance with standards. + Train new hires/transfers regarding proper maintenance and safety standards. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical Maintenance + Mechanical Troubleshooting + Fabrication **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2-5 years of experience with drive trains - belts, pulleys, sprockets, and chains. + Basic electrical knowledge - 110 single phase and 480 & 230 v 3 phase. + Fabrication skills including welding, grinding, and assembly. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
