Job Summary： 

The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports the business through repairs and improvements to the building and grounds. Maintenance items can include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and special projects. The role is also responsible for performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and responding to emergency repairs to ensure the facility operates smoothly and safely.

 
Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair equipment and tools as needed and per the PM scheduleProvide support to other departments as requiredAssist with preventive maintenance and facility inspections Attend trainings as requiredMaintain safe working practices and follow company safety policies and procedures Performing regular inspections on building systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, fire alarms and fire pump automatic doors and report findings to the Facilities ManagerMaintaining records and preparing reports on maintenance activities.Monitor facility for possible safety violations, health concerns and environmental compliance Contacting and managing outside contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance services

Requirements: 

Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance. Ability to work at elevated heights requiring fall protection Able to bend, carry, climb, lift, push, pull Ability to operate powered industrial equipment (I.e., forklifts, floor machines, etc.) Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Able to work flexible hours including on call shifts and emergencies.

Education, Experience & Skills

High School Diploma required or GED equivalent required. Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasionSit or stand for 8-10 hours.May need to be on your feet for extended periods around the facilityWear proper PPE Ability to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, as required to work with equipmentwork safely in all areas of responsibility
