Associa is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its community in Arlington. Responsibilities include, day-to day maintenance and minor repairs for the property, common areas and other facilities, including performance of community maintenance work. Work should be performed independently. General supervision is provided by the Community Manager.
\n\n\nPerform a variety of daily maintenance tasks, year-round, seasonal and on an as- needed basis. Tasks include plumbing, electricity, drywall, and paint.\nReview Checklists and Work Orders. Perform work duties in the order of priority as determined by the Building Engineer. Complete Check lists and Work Orders timely and efficiently.\nInspect and perform needed repairs and maintenance to all building areas.\nMaintain the Office Building area, replace light bulbs, and perform general maintenance.\nPerform seasonal duties and general maintenance relating to Common Grounds, Parking Area, Entrance Gazebo area and Pool area.\nProperly winterize all exterior common areas and plumbing to include the pool, shower areas, and drinking fountains.\nStore Pool furniture for off season, power wash, inventory and place all pool furniture for start of in-season.\nSnow-Blow and shovel snow, apply ice melt to the sidewalks and entryways of all buildings and common sidewalks.\nPower wash pool deck areas for season; spot power wash through pool season as needed.\nClear street drains throughout the community as needed.\nAssist with property inspections and periodic night light inspections.\n\n Requirements\nHigh School graduate or equivalent.\n1-3 years of general maintenance experience to include basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, drywall, and paint.\nFamiliarity with Check Lists, Work Orders, and In-unit service maintenance programs.\nAvailability to be on-call at least once a month.\nCustomer service oriented and good communication skills.\nFollow-up skills, team player, and ownership.\nUse of hand tools and small power tools.\nAbility to exercise sound judgment in emergency situations.\nAbility to work tactfully and respectfully with co-workers, homeowners and with general public.\n\n\n#LI-PK1
