The Opportunity
The purpose of a Maintenance Technician II position is to perform basic tasks and repairs within the fulfillment center including work on conveyors, PIT equipment, and general building maintenance. This requires a basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Also we ask that you have familiarity with AC/DC systems and the ability to use a volt meter.
You will report to the Facilities Area Manager and work onsite in our Bethlehem, PA fulfillment center. We have a day and night shift available.

The maintenance team is responsible for a variety of work streams and projects that allow our campuses to have a comfortable and safe workplace. The services the department provides range from building maintenance, AV Setup/Installation, guest registration, badges/parking permits, space planning/moves, drawing requests and design, large-scale projects, and café/catering services.
Your Impact
Building Maintenance – Perform and facilitate general facility repairs such as plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting, HVAC, and wall repair. Perform repairs on dock doors, dock locks, and dock plates to resolve problems and ensure successful operation. Escort and assist outside vendors.Equipment Maintenance – Perform planned and unplanned repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment. Identify and correct safety hazards and potential maintenance issues before they become critical. Help with repairs when unscheduled breakdowns occur.Conveyor, Automation and Sorter Systems – Support and perform planned and unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment. Help with conveyor, automation and sortation system repairs. Address production-related issues and consult with team leaders to ensure necessary corrections to maximize equipment throughput are performed.Electrical – Have a fundamental understanding of AC and DC systems and how to use a voltage meter. Follow lock out/tag out policy. May be asked to assist team leaders with repairs or replacement of de-energized electrical systems.System Installation, Design, Construction and Repair – Assist team leaders and contractors to perform installations of new or replacement equipment.Record Keeping – Input and maintain records using CMMS systems to ensure accuracy of time, parts, and repair data.
