Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician I to join our team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity for growth and advancement to higher levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance on machines and modifications to plant equipment, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring the proper functioning of machinery.

ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and modifications to plant equipmentResearch parts for repair and replacementsRead and interpret blueprintsConduct industrial maintenance and rebuild production machinesProperly use tools and equipmentPerform electrical maintenance, including 3-phase high voltage, AC and DC drivesConduct preventive maintenance tasksDiagnose and rebuild partsTroubleshoot PLC systemsPerform routine maintenance tasksEssential Skills1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to lift 50lbsExperience with 3-phase high voltage systemsKnowledge of AC and DC drivesBasic computer skillsKnowledge of PLC systemsExperience with basic hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and drillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsGeneral laborBlueprint readingTroubleshootingExperience with hydraulics and mechanical systemsHand tool usageRepair skillsExperience rebuilding motorsHigh School DiplomaWork Environment

The position is based in a manufacturing environment that can be loud. Safety is a top priority, with steel toes and PPE required. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm. The team-oriented environment ensures support and collaboration among employees.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Stead, Nevada.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43388.00 - $50252.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Reno,NV.
