Under limited supervision, perform varied mechanic repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment, as well as to perform building maintenance, which may include cutting/welding, plumbing, heating, carpentry, etc.

Pay Range: $25.00/hr to $40.00/hr- Pay is DOE (Dependent on Experience)

You Will:Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machinesLocate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, by listening for problems and/or by using precision measuring and testing instrumentsRemove old equipment and installation of newAnswer questions and requests regarding mechanical maintenanceMaintaining accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules, as well as knowledge of general and preventative maintenance proceduresPerform weekly safety checks to ensure a safe and cleanenvironment and eliminate all hazardsUnderstand proper LOTO proceduresPossess strong rigging background with safety backgroundOversee crane inspections and repairsEnsure maintenance welding and specifying parts needed for proper repairsPossess working knowledge of Low Voltage, 120V, 220 single phase and 230V, 480V Three PhasePossess VFD and PLC experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints for trouble shooting, repairs, and process and safety improvementsAbility to diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate measures to correct themStrong time management skills and the ability to work well in a team settingAbility to perform moderate to heavy physical labor, including walking, climbing, standing, sitting, and liftingStrong working knowledge in Pneumatics and Hydraulics (Troubleshooting)You Have:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Ability to read and write clearly.Good math skills.Good judgment abilities to seek problem resolution.Minimum of three years industrial maintenance experience with exposure to plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and machine and equipment repairs required.Must be available for weekend and holiday call-ins or for scheduled maintenance service work as needed.What's In It For You:People-First Culture – Enriching and caring for people is at the core of who we are; this includes our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategy, and providing our employees with meaningful career growth opportunities, a positive and safe work environment, and affirmation that they are heard, valued, and respected.401K PlanFlexible PTO & Generous Paid HolidaysEducational AssistanceVariety of Medical plan options – choose the one that is right for you!Sustainability – One of Newsweek's Top 400 of "America's Most Responsible Companies" for sustainability performance, three years running.

Physical requirements:

While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. You must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job responsibilities outside the typical office setting.
