EVE (United States of America)SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Repairs and Maintains manufacturing equipment in a Semiconductor Fabrication area.Maintenance Technician II
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED:
Takes lead on matters of safety in manufacturing area
Performs routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Performs repairs on moderately complex equipment.
Adjusts and operates equipment, noting any deviations in equipment functionality, performing the repair and acquiring assistance if needed for the repair.
Works with the maintenance team to keep production equipment up and available to run product.
Works with some direction to complete preventative maintenance on schedule and respond to down equipment promptly.
Working overtime may be required.
Providing coverage 'on call' basis may be required.
Performing other duties and tasks including special projects as required.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education equivalent to a High School Diploma with three years of related technician experience. (Preferred AS degree in Electronics along with the experience)
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of safety in the workplace, including procedures and required PPE.
Understanding of chemical and gas safety principles.
Ability to use and understand the use of a Multimeter for electrical troubleshooting.
Understanding of mechanical principles, and troubleshooting/repairing mechanical systems.
Basic understanding of electrical and electronic troubleshooting.
Knowledge of various semiconductor manufacturing equipment would be a plus.
Demonstrate computer skills, folder navigation, file manipulation, file transfer and file backup.
Ability to use common computer applications such as spreadsheets and word processing.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Demonstrate interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
Motivated and eager to improve personal knowledge and skills, desire to help build team knowledge base and skill set.
Positive, energetic attitude.
COMPETENCIES:
Ability to work well under pressure, to prioritize and repair equipment in timely manner.
Safety champion. Ensure safe work environment. Ensure safety of team when working together in hazardous situations involving chemicals, electricity, mechanical hazards.
Responsible for timely response to down equipment, including possible 'on call' or over the phone support to manufacturing Personnel.
Strong problem-solving skills.
'Ability' to learn details for wide variety of semiconductor equipment.
'Ability' to research and communicate with specialists or vendors to resolve issues.
