JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour plus $1.50 per hour shift differential

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday (5:00 pm - 3:30 am)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining complex manufacturing equipment to ensure production processes are reliable and consistent. You must have the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences and have good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. You must be very detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to work independently and within teams.

The Maintenance Tech III must have proficiency in various electrical systems including:

Troubleshoot, change, install and commission all components of instrument control and electrical systems At least 5 years of experience in Electrical Controls

Must be able to work with power distribution systems, uninterrupted power sources, communication protocols, human machine interfaces

Conduct Medium Voltage troubleshooting and repair (480 VAC) (750VDC) Electrical Testing (Insulation Integrity, Partial Discharge, etc.) Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC and applicable OSHA standards Transformer Maintenance and Testing. Three Phase Motors DC Motors and Motor Controls Servo Motors and Controls

The safe operation, troubleshooting, repair, and documentation of all activities regarding manufacturing equipmentWorks with production departments to schedule troubleshooting and repairs of equipment issuesMaintains a strong focus on SafetyPerforms duties safely and ensures the safety of others by wearing proper protective equipment, following Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and complying with other safety practices and procedures Qualifications High School Diploma or recognized equivalentMinimum of five years experience in a maintenance mechanic function, or equivalent related experienceAbility to perform general mathematic calculations including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, percentages, and division.Some positions may require advance mathematicsMust demonstrate proficiency in resolving unexpected events and circumstanceHand and Power toolsShop Machine toolsTesting equipmentAbility to read different measuring devices (i.e. tape measure, protractor, micrometer)Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistThe employee is frequently required to walk, stand; sit; bend; stoop; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; lift; climb and/or balance essential tasksSpecific vision abilities include close-up and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception Additional information
