Maintenance Technician III

Primary Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and maintain relay logic circuits, starters, motors, electrical metering devices, and electrical measuring devicesFabricates and installs metallic and non-metallic conduit, buss duct, and wire racewayDesign and build various control panelsDraw schematicsLubricates electrical motorsUse multi-meters, leggers, amp probes, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other electrical/electronic test equipment in the performance of their dutiesTroubleshoot and repair various electronic components as neededRepair circuit boards and electronic components as neededTroubleshoot and repair programmable controllers, NC, CNC, radio-controlled devised and DNC machine tools and equipmentContain and clean up jobsitesAdapt new methods and procedures as requiredAssist other skilled classifications as neededPerform predictive maintenance checksOperate production and non-production equipment and machine tools as required in the performance of their dutiesPerform preventative maintenance inspections, repairs, and adjustmentsParticipate in additional training related to workOperate material handling equipment, cranes, hoists, and man lifts, as instructed in the Plant Safety Rules and according to OSHA standardsMaintain equipment and working area in a clean and orderly mannerPerform all duties with the highest standard of productivity and qualityAssist in training other Maintenance TechniciansMeet all standards for safety, production, and qualityOther assigned duties

Required Skills:

Ability to work with your hands Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds, and up to 50 pounds Basic computer skillsBasic reading, writing, arithmetic (shop math), and comprehensive skillsProven proficiency using shop tools (grinders, plasma cutters, etc)Production knowledge, mathematical skills, problem-solving skills, observational skills, communication skills, analytical skillsBasic mechanical skillsUse of computer system softwareTeamwork orientationSelf-motivatedProfessional attitude

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Required Education/Experience:

6+ years of manufacturing experienceHigh School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

Forklift experienceElectrical experienceMulticraft experienceAssociate Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Work is scheduled Monday through Saturday. Shifts are 8 hours with multiple shifts.  Employees MUST be flexible and may be required to change shifts.
