As the Electrical Maintenance Technician III, you will perform a variety of tasks related to electrical controls, equipment, and wiring in our plant. The work may involve testing, troubleshooting, installation and repair of electrical components. Under the guidance of the Facilities Manager, you will read and interpret blueprints and specifications and remaining current on electrical code specifications for the area.
You Will:
Run electronic tests and inspections, cleaning contacts or circuit boards, and ensure systems are grounded.
Install outlets, lighting fixtures, and switches.
Take preventative measures such as oiling motors, bending conduit, and replacing old wiring.
Maintain logs and record labor, materials, and equipment used.
Calibrate and check instruments.
Respond quickly to emergency situations.
Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs and maintenance.
Perform routine electrical maintenance on production equipment and perform repairs.
Wire machines and electrical panels per prints and specifications.
Support internal customers by interfacing with them regarding equipment repair.
You Have:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field.
3+ years of experience working as an electrician in an industrial environment.
A high level of proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s).
Experience with safety rules in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Mechanical, analytical, and solution driven skills.
Experience with automation and conveyors.
Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.
Ability to read measurement devices and blueprints.
The ability to work well with all levels of personnel, whether individually or in a team environment. You must also be able to work and communicate with line operators to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
