Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Monroe, WI. The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive and repair maintenance to all plant equipment/facilities in accordance to work instructions and equipment manufacturers’ specifications.

Job Location: Monroe, WI

Essential functions:

Read and interpret blueprints, manuals and follow various work instructions. Perform all preventive and repair maintenance in accordance to work instructions and equipment manufacturers’ specifications. Proficient at troubleshooting problems and visualizing necessary repairs. Proficient using various hand and diagnostic tools. Ability to work well with fellow employees including active participation in employee involvement activities and problem solving. Fully support and participate in promoting safety at all times.

Other Duties:

Maintain clean, efficient work area. Ability to work well with minimum supervision. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, PLC equipment is preferred.

Non-Essential Duties:

Able to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Basic Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience:  2 years in a manufacturing environment that include CNC equipment

Physical Skill & Effort: 

Standing, bending, lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs., periodically during an 8 to 12 hr. work shift. Dexterity required includes the ability to safely work with power and hand tools.

Working Conditions and Hazards:  

Normal hazards associated with working in a metal fabricating environment. Personal protection equipment required consists of: safety glasses, steel toed shoes and hearing protection. Additional personal protection equipment may be required and is dependent upon the work being performed, and may include a face shield, respirator, etc.
