Maintenance Technician - Plastic Injection Molding

Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative and predictive maintenance tasks related to plastic injection molding machinery, mold set-up, and PLC programming. The Maintenance Technician will work with a team to ensure the safe and effective operation of all molding machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs of plastic injection molding machines.Set-up and change molds and tooling for molding machines.Troubleshoot and repair molds, machinery, and tooling.Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks for molding machines.Monitor and adjust molding machine settings in order to maintain quality control.Program and maintain PLC systems for molding machines.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in plastic injection molding.Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.Experience in set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of molding machines.Knowledgeable in PLC programming.Strong attention to details and problem-solving skills.Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work 12 hr shift on a 2/2/3 rotation
