Job Description

Position Summary: Vacuum maintenance is responsible for the maintenance, repair and technical support of production related equipment systems.

Essential Functions/Responsibility: Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting skills for production and facilities equipment. This includes proficiency with a variety of tools such as DVMs, RGAs and leak detectionPerform complete electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance services ranging from low voltage DC systems to AC voltages from 120 up to 480 volts.Complete inspections and logs as requiredProper handling of compressed gas cylinders, material handling equipment per EHS requirements.Perform inventory of equipment spare parts.Experience using various hand and power tools, multi-meter, leak detectors, electronic or computerized test systems etc.Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

QualificationsAssociates degree or equivalent years of experience in maintenance/electronic Good mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, particularly required by a diverse and extensive amount of high vacuum pump and vacuum control systems within the facility.Knowledgeable of a wide array of industrial technologies including: Electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum technology, control systems.Able to read and interpret schematics, drawings and technical manualsInstallation, maintenance and repair of low, medium and high vacuum systems, mostly located in clean room areas of the facility.
