Memphis Maintenance Tech Responsible for everyday maintenance procedures, rebuilds, installing of facility machinery, and contributing to process improvement with the maintenance department. Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and related systems. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate. Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained. Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains. Typically requires: High School diploma (Associate's Degree, professional certification(s), or license preferred), 2-4 years of related experience.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and other plant equipment. Resolves all maintenance and mechanical problems promptly with minimal disruption to production schedules. Follows all lock-out, tag-out procedures. Performs conveyor belt repair, minor equipment repair, and replaces parts in need of replacing. Understands and determines when and what type of maintenance is needed.Techs will be working on low to high voltage (24 volts to 480 3-phase volts)Ability to stand and/or crouch for long periods of time.Able to use a ladder or scissor lift. Performs welding on 18-gauge stainless steel (mig or tig). Understands the tools and equipment needed to do each job. Works independently and repairs or troubleshoots machines and systems using necessary tools. Monitors machine operations, gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure machine is working properly. Completes maintenance recordkeeping. Keeps record of all work performed. Update’s maintenance history logs and completes required paperwork. Accounts for equipment used for maintenance and repairs. Understands and follows the company GMP policy. Understands and follows the company safety rules. Cleans and maintains work area. May be required to work long hours and weekends.
