Your Role
As a Maintenance Technician Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining standard preventive maintenance documentation, including SOPs, forms, test methods, and test specifications. Also, the Maintenance Technician Supervisor will oversee repairs for both scheduled and unscheduled equipment on the Mobius shop floor, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. The role will involve supporting various departments, including Production, Quality Assurance, Customer Care, Prototyping, R&D, and Warehouse operations. Also, include maintaining the efficiency and reliability of critical manufacturing equipment through effective troubleshooting and data-driven analysis. This position also entails providing leadership-level support to enhance overall operational effectiveness. Hours of operations Friday-Sunday 8am-8pm EST. Specific Responsibilities Include:
Supporting engineer on new equipment and existing equipment validationAdheres to company Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) proceduresImproves equipment downtime and increase equipment uptime opportunities through current and or new systemsEffectively handle and assist complex technical problems escalated from all TechniciansParticipation in shift changeover with colleagues and other management teams.Perform Daily record work Preventative Maintenance Tracker and provided equipment status report on the production floorMeets output and targets set by ManagerSuggestion of ideas for improvement.Investigate elevated issues by confirming the validity of the problem and seeking for known solutions related to these more complex issuesProvided support when issue arise and escalated to SMEEffectively communicate with Production leads and supervisors make sure production is on target to alleviate all lost downtime of equipmentParticipates in process improvement projects as requested
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Applied Manufacturing, Mechanical other Engineer disciplinesOR
5+ year of experiences in a maintenance supervisor role in a manufacturing industryHigh School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Maintain a clean and organized work areaAbility to communicate to the manufacturing team of any issues or opportunities that may affect product quality.Effectively lead team and reduce equipment downtimeKnowledge in time management and increase efficiencyKnowledge in creating new SOP documentation and update existing SOPWork with Engineering to resolve equipment issuesDemonstrates high equipment and process knowledge for various manufacturing processesEffective interpersonal skills required to successfully interact with cross functional teamsExcellent verbal and written communication skills are relied upon in all areas of responsibilityMust be flexible and adjust to rapidly changing prioritiesProactive and able to work independentlyExcellent documentation skills and high details on paperwork with accuracyProficient and experienced in training others
