Job Summary
Entry level maintenance job classification. Employees in the class work under supervision 100% of the time and does not supervisor others.

Facility ExpectationsFollow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards.Ensure product quality expectations are met.Follow all facility Good Manufacturing Practices as required.Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and completion of all listed housekeeping duties per the master sanitation schedule.Work with other colleagues to effectively communicate production issues.Participate in morning toolbox, shift exchange/review and response meetings to communicate your key process indicator performance.Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues.Required to work overtime as specified by management.Attend training classes in-plant or at other locations as assigned.Apply PE principles and standards to your work area and work processesWork DutiesAbility to work in adverse conditions: outside work, high noise levels, heat, dust, heights.Ability to learn to help troubleshoot process problemsWillingness to learn mechanical operationAbility to learn how to maintain SOP’s and documentationSafe work practices for self and co-workers.Ability to work in confined spacesWork well with others to accomplish job task as assignedKnowledge of plant equipment and process flowMinimum RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED with strong fundamental skills (math, reading, writing).Previous warehouse and/or industrial plant experience preferred.Position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs., walk long distances, stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, and work at heights.Must have a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles to transport self and items across site.Requires working in extreme temperature conditions. No areas being climate controlled.Ability to use computers including Microsoft Office skills. Basic math and writing skills Previous Maximo or CMMS experience beneficial.Strong attendance record.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Customer focused when interacting with all site colleagues & vendors daily.Willingness and ability to work flexible hours. Overtime required including extended hours and Saturday work during plant shutdown periods.Ability to operate a forklift.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and record keeping.Flexibility in accepting change and an attitude of continuous improvement.Cross training as needed.Promote the ADM Way and Core Values.Understanding of the importance of SafetyFirst-aid and CPR instructionADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
