Maintenance Utility/Engineering Support Technician

Job Summary
The Maintenance Utility/Engineering Support Technician I provides technical, organizational, and administrative support to plant engineering and maintenance. Roles include using software like Autocad, Radan, Rockwell Automation, and Fanuc, plus championing facility systems like access control, CCTV, Bell notifications, and others. This position will work with others to aid in making production more efficient by implementing new technologies to help progress us into a more sustainable, safe, and efficient facility. Documentation and organization will be required to maintain records on equipment, procedures, BOMs, and policies that support our manufacturing operation.

Essential Duties

Documentation Responsibilities
*Job Safety Observations (JSO’s)
*Lock Tag Verify (ATV's)
*Preventative Maintenance (PM's)
*Troubleshooting Guides (TSG)
*Video Training Procedure (VSI's)
*Create links via QR code and post them on the machine to make documentation accessible. Plant Change Notification (PCN’s) documenting new items for approvals
*Management of Changes (MOCs/PSSRs)
*EHS Champion for a designated areaEngineering Responsibilities
*Assist Controls Engineer and Electronics Technicians with applications
*Create and revise electrical schematic drawings (AutoCAD)
*Create and maintain BOMs for engineering applications
*Become familiar with production software and applications like Rockwell Automation, Fanuc Robotics, Asset Center, and 3D printing
*Verify projects being implemented and provide feedback for improvements
*Run tests on products to ensure proper quality standards are met.
*Order and replace equipment parts.
*Assist departments and supervisors in any way possible to run the businessMaintenance Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot equipment to find the root cause of problems
* Develop PM documentation for equipment
* Recommend machinery improvements
* Assist maintenance in machine repair when needed


Qualifications Required

Associate’s Degree (Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics) RequiredProven experience in a high volume manufacturing setting preferred. (6 months)
