Primary Purpose of this Job The Maintenance Utility Worker performs a variety of basic preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment, under the supervision of maintenance mechanics and lead. Performs a range of semi-skilled facilities maintenance responsibilities and supports the revert chip reclaiming process. Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned) + Perform chip removal and coolant changes from machines. + Check coolant and document as needed; add or change, and/or PM coolant as needed. + Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; perform routine preventative maintenance as required. + Assist in basic machine maintenance tasks under the supervision of the maintenance lead. + Perform basic facilities maintenance tasks as assigned. + Control revert containers, monitor revert to ensure correct weight. + Assist in organization and inventory control of the reclaimed process. + Promote workplace safety, environmental practices, and wasted reduction opportunities. + Perform daily other duties as required which can include but not limited to, sweeping, floor scrubbing, mopping, and trash removal.
