Summary Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems by performing the following duties.\n
\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n
\n\nVisually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.\nListens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.\nDismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.\nCleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.\nSchedule maintenance in a manner that will not hinder the production team from meeting their scheduled timelines.\nCoordinates repairs in a timely manner to assist the production team in meeting their scheduled timelines. \nInstalls and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.\nLays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.\nRepairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.\nMay be required to perform non-maintenance duties on a temporary basis.\n\n

Education and\/or Experience \n

One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and\/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n
