Supervises all service aspects within Restaurant R’evolution, with a focus on the host stand, reservation and private dining operations as well as the set up and organization for service on the floor. Be responsible for all large party and private dining requests, contracts and the execution of said parties. Ensure compliance with standards of service and operating procedures. Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations concerning health safety or other compliance requirements

Job Description

Supervise day-to-day activities of the restaurant.  Plan and organize work.  Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.Ensure all staff is properly trained and certified if applicable and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions.  Conduct training for all current and new associates.Work closely with General Manager in all aspects of day to day activities.Monitor performance of the restaurant through analysis of guest feedback and financial results.  Engage with guests to correct any negative feedback and coordinate with management team to correct any issues that may come up.Manage staffing and labor costs of the host stand, work with management team to ensure daily staffing levels are appropriate and assist with cuts when business allows.Maintain procedures to ensure the security and proper storage of restaurant inventory, and equipment within the host stand and bar area.Ensure that all restaurant equipment (Ipads, printers, POS machines.) at the host stand and bar area is in proper operational condition and is cleaned on a regular basis.  Ensure that all restaurant facilities are cleaned, vacuumed, and properly stocked according to anticipated business volumes.  Notify Engineering immediately of any maintenance and repair needs.Take ownership of all private dining and large parties.  Coordinate the communication with guests, Chef and management team on private dining inquiries, menus, contracts and bookings. Execute contracts, take deposits and handle credit card information to PCI compliance standards for private events as well as any guest requests to purchase items or services for reservations.Organize party menus and have them set up, typed and printed each day prior to staff set up for that service’s parties.Communicate and handle any special requests from guests to the team and enforce/uphold any rules and service standards with our guests (dress code, room max capacity, etc.)Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.  Key departmental contacts include Sales and Marketing, Catering, Banquets, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Guest Services.Ensure restaurant is staffed, fully set and ambiance with music, lights, temperature etc. are at assigned levels.  Check that bar tv’s are down and on sports channels at the start of happy hour and changed to correct channels if the content moves off sports throughout service. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Pay Range

A candidate for this position must possess the following applicable knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to demonstrate and provide applicable examples to support his/her competency. Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1-2 years restaurant management experience in a full service outlet, fine dining restaurant, or similar setting.Hospitality Management Degree or some college preferred. Ability to speak English is required.
