Join our Energy & Utilities Power Projects team at a time of rapid growth! We are seeking a Health & Safety expert that will fit our Major Projects, Zero Harm Manager opportunity reporting directly into the Head of Zero Harm ANZ – Power Projects.
This is a full-time permanent role that can be based in multiple locations across AU including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Newcastle. Please note, there may be a requirement to work onsite pending business requirements however an uplift and LAFHA will be provided accordingly.
What you’ll do
Supporting our Major Bids and Projects, you will play a vital role in assisting our E&U operational businesses to lead Zero Harm initiatives enabling safe conditions for our team, the communities and environment in which we work.
Collaborate with the Growth team to integrate safety considerations into major projects from the outset. Provide insightful and trusted advice to a diverse range of business managers and employees. Managing the transition of safety oversight from project development to operational execution. Support the Head of Zero Harm ANZ – Power Projects in executing strategic Zero Harm strategies.What we offer

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional, with a strong background in high-risk industries such as utilities, construction, or infrastructure—ideally in major projects or program-level work. Demonstrated experience providing safety leadership and strategic input into bids, tenders, and proposals, including the development of HSE methodologies, risk profiles, and client-aligned safety solutions. Proven track record in managing safety for large-scale projects, including interface management between operations, project delivery teams, HSE professionals, and client stakeholders. Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent Level 4 Certificate), with a commitment to ongoing professional development and relevant industry training. Minimum 2 years of team leadership or management experience, with a focus on building and supporting high-performing HSE teams across project environments. Lead ICAM Investigator and certification as a Safety or Quality Internal Auditor are highly desirable.About Energy & Utilities…
