Malaysia Country Manager

Fluke, a World leader in Test & Measurement tools seeks an energetic, passionate & results driven leader to manage the overall business operations in Malaysia; in order to ensure added value for customers, shareholders (for sustained growth, market share and profit) and employees (to drive engagement, passion and respect) and to deliver the desired business results.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you are accountable for functional and business objectives including the development of growth processes with sales channels partners and long-term growth pipelines within the region. 

This position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Primary Responsibilities / Duties
•   Strategic growth planning including development of go-to-market strategies, programs and countermeasure plans to achieve overall revenue targets and market share goals 
•   Business Development – management and development of existing and/or new sales channels
•   Work with regional Marketing team to implement and execute marketing activities for brand awareness and market share gain
•   Build and manage sales funnel direct and via channel to meet overall targets
•   Drive Facetime (activities with customers) and Pipeline Management (ensuring opportunities for future sales) including follow-up on activities and opportunities in the CRM system
•   Perform market sizing and competitive analysis for test instruments
•   Support Management team in developing strategic goals and tactical plans
•   Implement sales policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with corporate policies and provide working guidelines for the sales team
•   Create and maintain good relationships with customers, dealers, suppliers and authorities   
•   Local operational efficiency and best practice implementation
•   Professional development, motivation, and performance management
•   Manage and groom a seasonable high-performance team to meet company objectives
 

Experience / Qualifications  
•   Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent
•   Additional qualification in Business Management or MBA, Marketing or equivalent highly desirable
•   Marketing knowledge and channel management experience are highly desired
•   Proven commercial results and experience running a region/team
•   Experiences within fields of Utilities, Oil & Gas and/or mining industries will be valuable
•   Outstanding presentation, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
•   Excellent command of English and Bahasa both spoken and written
•   Computer savvy in terms of analytical & presentation skills
•   Proven ability to motivate, lead and direct a high performing team  
•   Good interpersonal skill, customer orientation and contact skill
