About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Intern to join our team and contribute to the development of a system for the automated creation of Windows images used in a sandboxed environment. The goal of this project is to design a solution that can dynamically generate Windows images based on predefined configurations and scripts.

This system should allow for:

Creating and configuring Windows user accounts

Enabling/disabling system services

Modifying system settings

Installing additional software during image generation

The intern will gain hands-on experience in automation, scripting, system administration, and software deployment while working alongside experienced engineers.

Objectives:

Develop a system for automated Windows image creation using scripts and configuration files

Implement automation scripts to customize Windows images (PowerShell, Python, etc.)

Integrate software installation, service modifications, and system settings into the image creation process

Research and test different tools and technologies for Windows image deployment

Document processes, configurations, and best practices

Collaborate with the team to refine requirements and improve automation workflows

Competencies:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Familiarity with Windows OS internals and system administration

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Batch scripting)

Knowledge of Windows automation tools (e.g., Sysprep, DISM, MDT, Packer, Autounattend.xml) is a plus

Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox) is a bonus

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Eagerness to learn and contribute to a real-world project
