Work hours: PRN, Days; Start time between 7:00am and 8:30am; Some Saturday coverage needed

Here’s What You Need
•    Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required 
•    Associate degree preferred
•    2 years of clinical experience in mammography required and
•    1 year of digital experience preferred
•    ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography upon hire required and
•    CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required and
•    BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
 
What You Will Do
•    Staff supervision and coordination of daily department activities
•    Schedules staff to provides adequate staff coverage including vacation schedules, absenteeism and turnover
•    Oversees orientation, training and cross-training of new staff to department, assesses their ability to work independently, communicates policies and procedures to staff, and verifies orientation paperwork
•    Assists in implementing and monitoring performance evaluation procedures, establishing professional development goals, and counseling staff on an ongoing basis as appropriate.
•    Acts as a technical resource for staff by providing ongoing instruction and assistance with procedures, equipment and PAC
•    Performs mammograms and diagnostic radiographs.
•    Produce quality images in mammography as defined by the American College of Radiology guidelines.
