Mammography Tech
Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. REQUIRED:

1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

3. Certified in Mammography as defined in the American College of Radiology (ACR)/Food and Drug Administration (FDA)/Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) standards.

4. Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.

5. Certified in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (CPR and AED) Program

PREFERRED:

1. 1 – 3 years’ experience in mammography.

2. 1 year experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.

3. Experience in Clinical Research setting.
