This is a Per Diem (as needed) position working at Northwest Medical Center Houghton.
Summary:
Performs medical imaging techniques and related procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, with specialized training in mammography.
Experience:
Preferred: 1 year mammography experienced
Skills:
Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required: Certification with the ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with advanced training in Mammography; Licenses (CRT & CMT) from the State of AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE). Student Mammography license is acceptable in lieu of CMT; CMT must be obtained within 6 months of hire date into the position. American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification.
