Aspirus is seeking a LEAD MAMMOGRAPHER TECH to join our team! This position will be the Lead Mammo Tech at our clinic in Ontonagon, Michigan.
The Mammographer Technologist provides health care services, using x-rays, to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs medical imaging techniques and related procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of, a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
HOURS: This position is Supplemental; 0.2 FTE or 16 hours per pay period. Day Shift.
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of radiology standards and procedures as they relate to mammography procedures normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiology school, an Associate’s Degree in Radiology, or sufficient on-the-job training to meet ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification requirements. Meets FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) mandated requirements. A minimum of one year of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging beneficial to enhance and develop skills preferred, but not required.
