The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for a multitude of Mammography exams including assisting with Needle localizations and breast biopsies. The Mammography Technologist must be knowledgeable and dedicated to radiation safety. The employee will provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff with an emphasis on quality service and excellent patient care. The ideal candidate for this role must be self-motivated and demonstrate ability to work as a team.\n

Roles and Responsibilities:\n\nMust be capable of setting acquisition factors, positioning patient, and evaluating images for optimal image quality, in accordance to physician's instructions.\nInsure department policies are adhered to by following patient identification policy, documenting patient's surgical history and implant consent, as well as any changes\/variations to protocol on requisition. Follow all P+P regarding use of ISTAT (Per sites worked)\nFollow the Radiation Safety Policies for patients and staff by using proper shielding and collimation and following Imaging Pregnancy Policy.\nCompletes all steps involved with the exam including: documentation of patient history, tech info, \"Universal Time Out\
