The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing mammography examinations following ACR requirements. This includes screening and diagnostic mammography as well as all Mammographic procedures. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: + High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. + Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. + Must be able to meet the requirements for the National Registry (ARRT) and pass the examination. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms. Licenses and Certifications Required: + NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.) + American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT,M) + AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position Contacts: + Regular contact with medical personnel and its visitors.
