Manageability Solutions Product Manager

Our innovative lineup has received several awards, including the prestigious Emmy and the Oscar. **Role Overview:** The HP Manageability Solutions Product Manager is an important members of the Workstation Product organization and is dedicated to creating innovative manageability solutions and services for our high-performance compute customers. As a Solution Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing the vision, roadmap, and definition of software and hardware products that integrate with our world class workstations to form a differentiated solution that solves customer's manageability pain points. The ideal candidate must demonstrate expertise in defining requirements for solutions that incorporate hardware and software. They must possess a strong understanding of current manageability solutions and system architectures. Success of the business and individual will depend on close collaboration with Desktop and Mobile Workstation Product Planners and Managers, R&D, Data Science and Edge Teams, HP Anyware Product Management, HP Services, Sales/Category/Markets, World Wide Marketing, and Finance. **Key responsibilities for this role include:** + Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis and customer journey mapping to identify market opportunities, customer pain points (Moments of Truth), and areas of differentiation. + Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements by regularly meeting with End Users, ITDMs, and Channel Partners to map the end to end customer journey. + Define and articulate a clear product vision aligned with the ACS's overall strategic goals, staying up to date with industry trends and customer needs to continuously enhance the product roadmap. + Own product definition (Market Requirements Document) for software products that when combined with our world class workstations, result in differentiated, 10X customer experiences. + Communicate feature prioritization, timelines, and acceptance criteria to engineering teams to ensure timely and successful product development. + Champion user-centric design principles to deliver an intuitive and delightful user experience, working closely with product designers to create wireframes, prototypes, and UI/UX improvements. + Support product marketing and sales teams with the development of effective Go-to-Market strategies, product positioning, and sales enablement materials. + Define and track key product performance metrics. Analyze data to gain insights into user behavior and product usage, using this information to guide future product improvements. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in computer science or computer engineering + Minimum of 10 years' experience as a technical product manager or R&D engineer: developing and launching solutions that involve both hardware and software components. + Deep understanding of manageability landscape and customer needs + 10 years' experience developing manageability solutions from cradle to grave + Experience working with firmware and software engineering teams + Proficiency in applying design thinking principles to enhance the user experience and product design + Knowledge of agile principles and practices, with experience in agile product development and backlog management + Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams + Ability to interact with all levels of the company, including senior management + The ability to analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to make informed decisions aligned with strategic business goals + A passion for innovation and a willingness to explore emerging technologies and trends, adapting them within an agile framework + Working knowledge of business plan fundamentals + Strong influencing and consensus-building skills The job posting is anticipated to expire by April 28, 2025. The base pay range for this role is $130,350 to $200,750 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).
