In today’s highly competitive private equity market, firms must not only deliver superior returns, but also respond to more stringent reporting requirements and increasing demands for information – both from within and outside their organization. Throughout the industry there is mounting pressure on organizations to do more, requiring a clear technology strategy that not only addresses the demands of today, but also enables the growth and performance of tomorrow.
About the role:
This position works with top investment banks and brokers to design technical and functional solutions and implement products in the Post Trade domain. You'll be responsible for enabling client changes and professional services solutions. You'll provide presentations around solutions, support estimations, and respond to Request for Information (RFI's)and Request for Proposal (RFP's)around the services provided all while working with sales.
What you'll be doing:
Work with clients and operations teams to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs.Clearly articulate and document business requirements and translate it into functional specifications.Provide analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation.Develop strong partnerships with clients that focus on being a trusted advisor.Work with Project Managers, Architects, Developers, and other team members to design solutions.Participate in Functionality Testing, Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing, document test cases and results.Follow change management process regarding change deployment.What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experienceAt least 3+ years experienceHands on knowledge of JAVA, UNIX, Shell scripting, Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL.Familiar with Docker, Kafka, WebSphere MQ and CouchbaseCommunicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional mannerAbility to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and toolsTeam skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally as well as externallyAdded bonus if you have:
