Incumbent recommends new methods and procedures to enhance the efficiency of operations within the PEO. Keeps J62 management abreast of program operations, identifying shortcomings/deficiencies, and recommending necessary corrective action. Provides managers with updated or new mechanisms to minimize risk within processes. Responsible for tracking, researching, and analyzing memorandums/communications and supporting documentation in order to evaluate, control, and monitor correspondence distributed to the J62 organization for action. Reviews proposed directives to ensure proper arrangement of material, consistency with existing directives, and proper disposition. Analyzes program management documentation data and reports submitted by program managers to ensure data is updated, complete and accurate. Experience/Expertise IT Accessibility and 508 Skills Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for a Management Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Plans and schedules projects, organizes materials, analyzes and coordinates as appropriate and develops final reports & recommendations on a variety of management issues involving a variety functional business communities. Evaluates program management-related metrics and conducts trend analyses. Analyzes pertinent management data and develops statistical and narrative data to justify any changes and recommendations. Analyzes and recommends new methods and administrative/managerial procedures to enhance the efficiency of operations within J62; establishes standard operating procedures and ensures that office personnel are trained on all internal management and organizational procedures, policies and guidelines. Conducts studies of management data, work processes and procedures. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
