Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Office of Counsel in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command of Europe, Africa, Central. Responsibilities You will provide administrative and management support for the Office of Counsel, receive calls and visitors, answer all questions referring to personnel. You will independently perform a variety of management projects/duties as assigned such as gathering data, analyzing information, developing spreadsheets, and completing summary of data and recommendations for The Office of Counsel and the CO/XO. You will support the ethics counselors with the inputting and management of data into the Financial Disclosure Management (FDM) system, including inputting Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports (OGE-450). You will assist attorneys who provide advice and representation by conducting legal research and/or assisting in the preparation of legal opinions. You will assist in the Office of Counsel's Record Management and prepare reports and draft replies in response to periodic requests and data calls. You will provide administrative support to the CO/XO related to the Military Justice Program and Investigative matters. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07/09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience may include: 1) Utilize administrative regulations and operating procedures to gather information and to analyze/recommend solutions to problems in administrative procedures and work processes 2) Screen incoming request for information and relaying such request to the appropriate points of contact for action 3) Use Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) to perform a variety of management and administrative duties both internally and externally for the command 4) Communicate effectively (both oral and written) with all levels and ranks of personnel to work with others in potentially adverse situations to achieve agreement within required time frames.
