Management Analyst IVOverview:
The Management Analyst IV will carry out organizational studies and evaluations, design management systems and procedures, perform work simplifications and measurement studies and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
Primary Responsibilities: Functions as a Management Analyst with expert knowledge of management systems techniques, processes, and technology that will optimize program operations. Analyzes management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology. Analyzes administrative processes and/or office programs. Writes reports, letters, and other documents with recommendations for management programs, policies, and activities. Develops new or revised management systems and procedures to facilitate the operation of programs within established guidelines. Performs administrative and financial analysis. Provides research, spreadsheet development, data collection, and analysis. Oversees the preparation of various recurring reports such as monthly, quarterly, cumulative semiannual, and cumulative annual reports. Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and proactively responds to changes in project scope, identifies potential issues, and recommends actions. Provides expert technical guidance and assistance to lower-level staff; • Provides day-to-day support in diverse program activities and projects. Performs other related duties as assigned. Exercises independent judgment and initiative daily and requires infrequent supervision. Supervisory Responsibilities:None
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred and twelve (12) years relevant experience. Two (2) years as a Management Analyst III or equivalent experience. Department of State experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Maintains professional competence and specialized knowledge base by keeping abreast of emerging themes and best practices.
Basic knowledge of and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to carry out studies and analyses of management functions or programs.
Knowledge of substantive programs, goals, pertinent laws, and policies to analyze and assemble information; and basic knowledge of management and organizational techniques, systems, and procedures to perform analytical studies.

Security Clearance: Possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to maintain required Security Clearance/access approvals. Physical Demands:
