This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Executive Director, Administrative Resource Center ARC. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will advise management on the evaluation and analysis of the effectiveness, productivity and efficiency of ARC programs and operations. Responsibilities As a Management and Program Analyst, you will: Provide key support to management in a wide variety of administrative and operational matters across ARC. Conduct broad or specific studies relevant to ARC senior leaders organizational goals and objectives. Compile data and perform statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of a wide range of programs and initiatives involving some of the most complex management systems and processes in use within the Federal Government. Review and evaluate program goals, develop methods to measure success, identify factors influencing program accomplishments, and recommend changes accordingly to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and program operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment A one year probationary period may be required. Must successfully complete a background investigation. Periodic reinvestigation is required no later than five years after selection and at least every succeeding five years. Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required. This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into "Continuous Vetting." Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automated record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with Treasury. The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time. Specialized Experience: Specialized experience for the GS-13 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes experience with: - Reviewing, evaluating, and recommending changes regarding reports, processes, programs, objectives, and goals; AND - Organizing and delivering briefings and presentations to management; AND - Contributing to various projects within an organization, either as a team member or project lead.
