Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the HEADQUARTERS of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS. Responsibilities Extract data from databases to support conclusions or recommendations. Consolidate business or financial information to prepare a portfolio view of program data for manager review. Inform managers of problem areas in overall production work. Write reports to provide status updates. Oversee management analyses (e.g., process analysis, business case studies, organizational development, activity based costing management efforts) designed to identify best business practices. Develop statistical criteria to measure program accomplishments. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Analyzing, evaluating, and advising management on the program cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity. 2) Managing ongoing and future actions, activities, projects, and initiatives, and 3) Advising and analyzing changes to organizational structures, organizational charts, mission and function statements to implement changes in program administration to reduce or eliminate overlapping programs.
