About the Position: Serves as a Senior Management and Program Analyst for the AMCOM Logistics Center, Business Management Office, Human Capital Branch. Responsibilities Independently leads and conducts complex research/analysis crossing multiple functional disciplines to assess and evaluate mission alternatives for inclusion in AMCOM strategic resourcing plans and studies. Coordinates and consults with action officers to determine and correct any factual or conceptual inaccuracies or inconsistencies in information provided. Conducts follow-up as required with extensive phone conversations, written communication and other electronic communications. Plans, conducts and analyzes various surveys to assess employee and organizational issues. Evaluates and defends the full range of mission, organizational, and customer impacts of each alternative and presents recommendations to command levels. Analyzes and evaluates input from all involved staff elements for adequacy prior to consolidation and inclusion in final report or staff actions. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Use analytical and statistical methods and techniques to plan and direct studies in areas of project management, organization and mission, and organizational performance; use applicable directives, regulations, procedures, and policies governing facilities, personnel, funding, contracts to accomplish assigned functions; and use oral and written communications to advise managers, resolve problems, conduct meetings and briefings. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12 or above). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Organizational Performance Analysis Problem Solving Program Management Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-0343-12). Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
