Responsibilities As a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST you will be responsible for the following duties: Incumbent serves as an Executive Officer in the Security Training Directorate's National Center for Credibility (NCCA) Assessment at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. As a Management and Program Analyst, this position provides direct support to the NCCA Director. Duties encompass: - Overseeing and tracking programs, projects, and initiatives for the NCCA Director. - Partnering with managers, key personnel, and stakeholders to understand and solve problems and address mission gaps.- Researching topics, conducting analysis, and providing strategic recommendations to leadership for informed decision making. - Communicating on behalf of the NCCA Director both internally and externally and representing the NCCA Director in meetings and working groups. - Developing and distributing analysis, reports, and presentations for NCCA. - Identifying organizational inefficiencies or areas for process improvements and leading those initiatives. - Overseeing the daily operations of the NCCA front office to include calendar management, official visits and engagements, and timely responses to taskers and requests. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG 13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes Applicant must be able to solve difficult problems and identify and improve inefficiencies; must have strong oral and written communications skills, as well as strong customer service and liaison abilities; and must be able to multi-task and track a variety of high-profile projects and initiatives at once. Planning & Evaluating- Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress and evaluates outcomes. Customer Service- Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
