MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT
Summary You will serve as a Management Assistant of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO. Responsibilities You will provide direct administrative support to all branch Directors and Management of the site; coordinate personnel actions, data calls and tasks to evaluate and improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of the organization. You will be responsible for compiling and analyzing data from regional sources, producing data reports for Site and Deputy and Director. You will perform a wide variety of record keeping, reporting and informational duties in support of the organization's program, functions, and projects. You will coordinate data calls from FLCSD and other command and task various elements of the organization with gathering specific information for the data call and sets required dates for responding. You will serve as primary point of contact for receipt and accountability for the procurement of goods and services for the various divisions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing technical Management Assistant duties, tasks and assignments to coordinate the tasks associated with administrative duties such as human resources, training, timekeeping programs, and travel coordination, etc. to support the financial and administrative aspects of the office. In addition, experience applying basic data gathering methods and procedures to collect and/or coordinate various types of factual information to identify, evaluate, and resolve problems related to program operations. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Produce a wide range of documents, reports, and graphics that require the use databases; 2) Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and power point presentations; 3) Coordinate all official travel within a variety of office automation software; 4) Coordinate all training on site and ensure all training requirements are completed within required time frames; 5) Coordinate submittal of human resources actions such as position changes, promotion recommendations, reassignments, award recommendations, personnel actions, etc. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
