Responsibilities You will provide staff support to the Command Evaluation and Review Officer on internal reviews and investigations affecting economies and efficiencies of SWRMC operations. You will assist in the planning and execution of difficult and diverse evaluations, investigations and reviews for fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement; Managers' Internal Control (MIC); external audits; and command evaluations. You will conduct research, data gathering, analysis, and develop recommendations on practices, procedures, processes, programs and activities. You will use appropriate quantitative and qualitative techniques to determine productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with directives. You will develop recommendations to effect improvement. You will conduct surveys of functional areas or specific programs to determine candidates for evaluation and review. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR GS-9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify and resolve issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature. FOR GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying basic analytical and fact-finding techniques by gathering and analyzing data to identify problems.
