Management Reporting Analyst

Responsible for processing, analyzing financial vs plan reports through expense management and management reporting

Primary Responsibilities

• Align knowledge strategy with business needs
• Assist in process design, development, implementation related to finance tasks
• Identify opportunities for process improvements
•Ensure all processes are documented in standard format and maintained in an accessible fashion
• Contribute to the refinement and identify improvement areas of current processes to enhance shared services transactions assigned to the operating function
• Ensure compliance to industry and company guidelines and policies and referred/escalated where appropriate
•Maintain a good internal stakeholder relationship
• Resolve escalated issues/complaints in a timely fashion
•Perform all tasks related to Actuals, Plan, & Re-Forecast analyses and accomplish all reports as required (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually reports)
• Assist the Finance Services Senior Analyst in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly QBE NA Executive binder/reports
• Support ad hoc requests in addition to primary responsibilities
• Other tasks as assigned

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience

• 2 years relevant experience

Preferred Competencies/Skills

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including financial modelling
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Effective analytical, and time management skills
• Ability to work on a global team
• Attention to detail

Preferred Knowledge

• Basic understanding of products and concepts relating to the financial services industry, including financial management principles
• Advanced knowledge of Management Accounting principles and practices, and reporting of financial data
• Advanced working knowledge of financial processes, procedures, solutions and best practices
