Role Overview:
As a Management System Auditor, you will lead and execute audits in compliance with ISO 17021-1 standards and Bureau Veritas guidelines. You will collaborate with clients and teams to ensure thorough assessments, enabling businesses to meet and exceed certification standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Execution:
Conduct and oversee all stages of audits: preparation, execution, and post-audit activities. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and Bureau Veritas protocols.Team Leadership:
Act as Lead Auditor for assigned audits, coordinating team activities, and ensuring clear delegation of responsibilities. Facilitate opening and closing meetings with clients. Resolve differences in opinions between the audit team and clients, documenting unresolved points as needed.Client Engagement:
Maintain effective communication with clients throughout the audit process. Discuss and address changes in audit scope and findings. Provide recommendations on certification decisions based on audit results.Post-Audit Responsibilities:
Prepare comprehensive audit reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Review corrective actions submitted by clients and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and future audit programming.
Additional Duties:
Participate in global and local Bureau Veritas initiatives, including training, calibration, and competency management. Support internal and external audit processes as required.
What Success Looks Like:
Timely submission of audit plans and reports. Accurate evaluation and resolution of client-reported nonconformities. Consistently meeting or exceeding performance standards, including responsiveness to queries and maintaining certification timelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, IT, or related fields; a master’s degree is an advantage.Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in the relevant industry.Certifications:
Completion of Lead Auditor training courses (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001); additional certifications are a plus.Core Competencies:
Strong knowledge of industry standards and legal requirements. Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and local languages. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to change.Technical Skills:
Proficient in report writing and data analysis. Adept at working both independently and collaboratively in diverse teams.
