The program involves not only the operations of each department, but also the finance, sales, retention and managerial aspects of every product and service. A candidate for this program must be self-motivated, hard working, capable of working with limited supervision, and willing to travel during the program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Participate in Management Trainee orientationComplete a monthly recap of activitiesUpdate the Management Trainee DatabaseLearn, understand and epitomize Expeditors cultureSet an example of excellence in every under takingFulfill full-time employee training requirementsComplete all relevant training as listed on each department’s development mapComplete management development trainingTrack the progress of training in each departmentComplete all relevant certificationsUnderstand and assist with the operations of each departmentUnderstand the management processes used within in each departmentAssist with the responsibilities and duties of the supervisor(s) of each departmentUnderstand and work with the operational and financial reporting used by each departmentAssist Department Managers in meeting productivity and expense-to-revenue goals within budgetary guidelinesComplete at least 2 projects during the programAttend all department, sales, branch, accounting and management meetingsAttend at least 2 product specific sales or retention calls per departmentUnderstand the sales and retention programs for each department Learn how to supervise and mentor employeesDevelop interpersonal communication and management skills
QualificationsPreferable MBA or Master degree, or least two years working experience at Expeditors with proven excellent performance record.Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.Good command of written and spoken English, CET 6 or aboveFluent Chinese speakingWilling to travel or be relocatedAdditional Information
