Manager, 3PL Food Safety & Quality

This role could work out of any of our facilities located in Irving, TX, Newark, NJ, Swedesboro, NJ, New York City, NY, Chicago, IL, Boulder, CO, Aurora, CO, and Phoenix, AZ

You will ... Audit HelloFresh 3PL and Co-manufacturing sites to ensure food safety standards are maintained in accordance with HelloFresh Food Safety Policies  Ensure the integrity of ingredients and packaging are within FSQA specifications Implement processes to improve site performance (KPIs) and consistency of supplied products  Conduct on-site evaluations, on-boarding, training, and other functions related to the site Promote a customer-first environment focused on delivering the highest quality product to our customers and ensuring food safety standards are maintained Manage food safety standards for all private labeled product  Vet additional 3rd party manufacturers, maintain current relationship with suppliers and establish onboarding standards  Partner with Procurement, Operations and other departments to develop SOPs, process-based audits and KPIs that will drive standardization and improvement across all aspects of the company

Bachelor’s Degree (Masters preferred) in Food Science, Microbiology, Supply Chain, or related; at minimum, high school diploma with no less than 4 years’ relevant experience 2+ years of experience in Quality, Supply Chain, Vendor Management or Food Manufacturing 1+ years of supplier or vendor management, including presentations, negotiations, on-boarding/off-boarding, performance evaluations, quality inspections, audits, etc. Well-versed in quality systems, food safety regulations, HACCP, GFSI, GMPs Background in Supplier/Co-Packer Management and Supplier Auditing Quality or Ingredient Certifications a plus (ASQ, SQF, AIB etc.) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Google app (Gmail, drive, sheets, etc.), and Tableau capabilities
