Your team will contribute to a large, global portfolio of productivity applications for Legal, Tax and Corporate professionals. Role Summary:
As a Manager of Accessibility, you are tasked with leading a team of Accessibility Specialists at a variety of levels to help them meet the demands of products and projects they support. In order to be effective in this role, you must have an understanding of accessibility and need a unique skillset of problem solving, strong communication and a passion for helping people deliver results. Your guidance will help your team balance complex requirements and priorities, remove roadblocks that prevent them from doing their best work, and demonstrate the values and behaviors that are important to our customers and our organization. Additionally, you will influence our processes and the scaling of the broader accessibility program.
About the Role:
As a Manager of Accessibility, you will:
Collaborate and communicate closely with key stakeholders and leaders in design, product management, and engineering to manage accessibility activities throughout our process, justify decisions, provide escalation management and drive our team OKRs (Objects/Key Results).Be responsible for working with stakeholders and project teams to ensure digital accessibility is built into project roadmaps and processes, removing obstacles for your team along the way.Manage, mentor, recruit and hire – creating a world-class accessibility team that fosters high performance and innovation.Provide oversight and guidance for your team throughout our product development lifecycle.Remove roadblocks that prevent the team from making data-informed decisions and delivering the highest quality experiences for our customers.Manage project prioritization ensuring team members are on projects and initiatives that complement and stretch their skills, career ambitions and provide growth opportunities. You will also manage their allocation and capacity.Proactively identify areas of opportunity in process and culture, influence and lead decisions on solutions.Lead by example in creating a positive, supportive team environment that encourages collaboration, innovation and respectful discussion.About You:
You're a fit for the role of Manager of Accessibility if you have:
BA/BS in information science, computer science, human computer interaction (HCI), instructional design, learning technology, related field or equivalent industry training / experience.8+ years experience relevant industry experience in software development, web development or related field.5+ years supporting or working with Accessibility teams &/or accessibility related projects.3+ years people management experience.Expert level understanding of WCAG, Assistive Technology, VPATs and Document Accessibility.Awareness to and understand accessibility laws and regulations including but not limited to Section 508, AODA, and European Accessibility Act.Demonstrated understanding of agile methodology including the use of associated tools like Azure DevOps or like system.Demonstrated success navigating complex organizations and ability to be persuasive/influential with a wide range of diverse audiences. A growth mindset, continuously looking for opportunities to improve process and ways of working.Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience interfacing with high level stakeholders.Strong influence skills and be able to effectively deal with ambiguous situations and make decisions.Assistive Technology users strongly encouraged to apply.

The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $116,900 - $217,100. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
