Title and Summary
Manager, Account ManagementOverview of Role:a. This is a high-impact Accounts Management position which offers the opportunity to manage all aspects of Mastercard business relationship with assigned customers.
b. The position requires a self-motivated, commercially pragmatic, business developer with stakeholder relationship management and influencing skills to partner with customer & Mastercard cross functional teams to create and implement impactful payments programs that maximize segment penetration & drive revenue targets.
c. The ideal candidate will be one with an excellent execution focus, while possessing payments industry experience, preferably gained in Business Development /Product management on the Issuer side with the ability to work across multiple disciplines and functions and passion for payment technology.
Responsibilities:
-\tMaintain primary responsibility for managing the relationship and profitability of target customers.
-\tResponsible for all account management/business development activities for customer set.
-\tDesign and execute strategic/tactical plans to enhance customer and MasterCard profitability.
-\tDevelop strong working relationships with key influencers at customer banks and with MasterCard support teams.
-\tWork with MasterCard cross functional teams to identify new segment and product opportunities and develop bespoke propositions to maximize segment penetration.
-\tLeverage all MasterCard brand sponsorship properties, product/services to deliver exceptional customer value.
-\tResponsible for all administrative and operational issues for the target customer set.
-\tManage & develop new and existing products; programs and services, as required.
-\tPerform market research and opportunity assessments on new concepts and ideas. Assess the viability of new products in support of market strategy.
-\tRecommends market strategy including pricing; introduction to market; profit planning; expense budgets; etc.
All about You:
-\tAt least 5 years of experience in Business Development/ Account/product management.
-\tSound knowledge of retail electronic Payments/ Cards from an Issuing / Acquiring/ Network perspective required.
-\tCandidates with work experience in the payments/banking domain preferred.
-\tCandidate must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines (Sales, Product, Marketing, operations, and risk.
