This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except for within the States of Alaska, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Employees located within 50 miles of a BHN office will be considered a “Hybrid” employee and are required to come into the office 2 days per week based on office schedule.

Overview:

The Manager of Accounting, Accounts Payable, will have a key role in ensuring that vendor invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner. You will lead a dynamic team responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable function, including onboarding vendors, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and business owners.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and optimize our AP processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to support our various systems. Your leadership will be instrumental in building a high-performing AP team that thrives on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities: Oversee end to end accounts payable process, including payment execution, payment application, vendor maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliation for multiple business units.Support the AP month-end close activities to include journal entry review and approval, BS reconciliation review, and corporate card reconciliation review.Supervise AP team to include, but not limited to staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.Monitor and ensure internal audit controls, company policies, and accounting standards, including W-9 and 1099 reporting.Identify opportunities across Accounts Payable to support process efficiency and automation opportunities.Work in cooperation with the other areas of accounting and the ERP team to achieve operational goals.Ensure daily tasks are completed in-line with procedures and internal control requirements.Act as a point of escalation for Accounts Payable and business process owners and ensure timely remediation of issues.Generate monthly AP reporting, highlighting inconsistencies and provide recommendations to senior management on payment cycles, and vendor performance.Assist in providing support for external and internal audits, and quarterly reviews related to Accounts Payable.Maintain key relationships throughout the organization to facilitate teamwork across departments.Assist with other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, in a supervisory capacity.Bachelor´s degree preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.Proficiency in working with accounting ERP software, OCR experience a plus.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high growth environment.Knowledge of reporting requirements for 1099s.Proven ability to evaluate processes, identify improvements and implement changes. Benefits:

Salary Range for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, South Dakota): $81,660.00 to $110,250.00

Salary Range for California Residents Only: $101,660.00 to $137,250.00
